Your lips hover barely above mine.
I beg a kiss with a whisper,
But you smile and pull away,
Teasing, laughing.
I pull you to me;
Firmly, gently.
I sigh as our lips touch,
Mouths open, tongues dance
And swirl around each other
While breath quickens, fighting to
Keep pace with our beating hearts.
Hands explore soft and warm places
As gasps and moans anticipate the
Intensity, signal the merging of bodies and souls
We struggle to reach releasing, while
Wanting an eternity to never pass;
Rather, To last forever in that moment before
It breaks, and we fall sweating and
Clinging to together, melting into one another.
Melting into one.
Why do moments so sweet
Have to be so fleeting?
Why, except for that one eternity,
Must be always be alone?
