I've been learning to use my Canon T5. The last SLR I used was my Olympus OM-1 35mm.  It was completely manual.  Very simple.  A light meter in the viewfinder, ISO setting for the film speed, manual focus, aperture ring, shutter speed.  That was it.  Very simple.  You had to make sure every shot counted because film was expensive and so was developing and printing it, even if you developed and printed it yourself.  Not to mention the time and effort.  It made the whole experience of photography intense and the need for attention to detail and dedication was required.

I'm taking that same approach with my digital SLR.  I'm learning how it works so that I can the best shot possible in the camera when that shutter clicks.  Instead of the darkroom and enlarger, chemicals and print paper, I use Photoshop.

The most important thing is the attention to detail needed to capture the best image possible and then, make the best finished project in my digital darkroom.

I'm going to do my best to make the photos I post here the best they can possibly be.  I hope you will like them.
